Digital transformation (DX)

We use BIM/CIM to perform basic planning, landscape studies, basic to detailed design, and maintenance. We are also starting to push for innovative technologies such as AI and IoT.

Disaster prevention, mitigation,
and response

We will pool our collective strength to actively engage in various sectors based on quality disaster prevention technologies, a NEWJEC strength, to help improve our country's resilience.

Our river inundation analysis and investigation work, investigative work for port earthquake and tsunami measures, and other projects have won us numerous awards, including the Award for Excellent Business Executive and Office Manager's Award from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism

and asset management

We have performed a broad spectrum of operation & maintenance and asset management operations in efforts to help build a sustainable, affluent society in which people can live safely and securely. We will also leverage AI and IoT in our research and development.

Our port facility inspection work, tunnel inspection work, general dam inspections, and other projects have won us numerous awards, including the Award for Excellent Business Executive and Office Manager's Award from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism

River management, dams, and erosion control

In our aim to help build a sustainable, affluent society in which people can live safely and securely, we are active across a wide range of river, erosion control and dam operations, including investigation, planning, design, construction, and hydrological testing.

Roads and bridges

Aiming at improved living standards, we engage in planning and design for roads, bridges, tunnels (mountainous and urban), and other structures (e.g.: common utility tunnels, box culverts, and retaining walls), as well as landscape design, ground quality analysis and other foundational soil work.

Ports and shores

In this sphere, we conduct various planning, project assessment, investigation, design, operation and maintenance work, primarily for ports and harbors, airports, and coasts.

Urban facilities and landscape design

In this sphere, with the aim of producing comfortable urban and lifestyle spaces, we are engaged in planning and design for parks and greenspaces and landscape design for urban facilities.

Water and sewerage

In this sphere, we are working on a wide range of operations for water supply projects for clean and safe, refreshing water and for sewerage projects to preserve water quality in rivers, lakes and waters, from planning and design to site management.

Power supply development, transmission and distribution

In this sphere, we handle planning and design for everything from large-scale power plant facilities to renewable energy facilities such as small hydroelectric, geothermal, solar, and wind power facilities. We are also engaged in research and design on the transmission and distribution lines that deliver this power to the cities, towns and villages.

Geosphere and geology

We conduct geological surveys and perform geological analysis on ground conditions.

Environmental

With our mission of connecting nature and people with technology, NEWJEC aims to both raise environmental issues and present their solutions in our consulting operations.
